Privacy Policy

This explains what FullStackHockey collects, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as we need to run a community directory.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, display name, username, and anything you add to your profile (bio, website, avatar link).
• Activity: the products you submit, your comments, and your upvotes.
• Newsletter: your email, if you subscribe to the Weekly Sheet.
• Technical: basic request data (like IP address) used for security and rate limiting, and privacy- friendly, aggregate analytics.

How we use it

To run your account and the site, show your public contributions, moderate content, send the emails you've opted into (password resets, submission updates, the newsletter), and keep the service secure. Your email address is never shown publicly; your display name, username, and contributions are.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We use a few processors to operate: Neon (database hosting), Vercel (app hosting & analytics), and Resend (email delivery). They process data on our behalf to provide the service.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, unsubscribe from the newsletter from any issue's footer, and request that we delete your account and its data. Reach out and we'll help.

Children

FullStackHockey isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. Because hockey audiences include families, if you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the date above when we do. See the Terms of Service for the rules of using the site.
